Hi Everyone,

I know some of you have already become quite well acquainted, but it might be nice for you to share a little intro to yourself in here so we can get to know each other a little better! 😊

Hi everyone and thanks for setting up the forum Helen.

For those I haven't met I am Morna and I am based in East Ayrshire about 20 miles South of Glasgow.  I live with my husband and dog 🐕and have 2 grown up daughters who are happily off doing their own thing.

My background is in recruitment, both agencies and in-house, and I have also done a lot of outplacement, facilitation and training over the years. I have been working in the menopause space for a couple of years now, including running return to work programmes for menopausal women and supporting a large social care charity with their menopause awareness project which has included a lot of training as well as policy work and awareness raising.  It even involved a trip to the Scottish Parliament at one point.

I am delighted to be in this group and happy to jump on a call to discuss ideas etc at any time.  Looking forward to getting to know you.

😊

Good morning All

Great to be connected and have a place to share.  Lovely to meet you Morna and to hear a bit about your background - great idea to share our AOE's too.

I have a background of Generalist HR, worked my way from the bottom to Director level. I also have experience of running a couple of little businesses. I'm in Salisbury Wiltshire (not far from Catherine Richardson)

A lot of my expertise sits around coaching and mentoring managers for either personal or organisational development.

I have two English Springer Spaniels, one Springador, two cats, chickens, children...... its country living all the way!  Oh and a husband!

Looking forward to hearing more and getting to know everyone a bit better.

Morning ladies,

Lovely to meet you all.

My background is 15 years in health and fitness.  I've spent much of that time coaching women on how to look and feel good at any stage of their life.  Over the last 2 years I have focused on menopause health and have run programmes for private groups and my own menopause ambassador programme within organisations.

I kind of fell into the workplace training, when I was approached in December 2021 and it's amazing to finally become a part of Henpicked to carry on this special work 😊

Oh yes and I'm based in the north (Manchester)

Hi all

Sorry, I'm late with this ... I have c24 years experience in HR and L&D.  I have worked with Henpicked for the last 2/3 years during my last corporate role to get us to the point of being able to apply for menopause friendly accreditation.  I set up and ran 'Menopause Matters' support group and trained as a Menopause Champion and went on to do the 'train the trainer' course too.  I've many experiences of the business and employee benefits which investing in menopause training etc can bring so I am extremely passionate about helping other organisations with this.

I took redundancy in Jan and met Helen to discuss the network in Feb 😊

I live in Darwen, Lancashire with my hubby, I have three kids, Jess is 25, Joe is 20 and Emily is 7.  I also have a grandson and a granddaughter on the way 💖  If I'm not working, I am ferrying the kids around and you'll often find me at dance competitions with Emily.

Looking forward to getting to know you all better 🥰
