Just wanted to share some potentially useful information for those of you wanting to link in to your local or regional Chambers of Commerce.
There are a couple of articles which will be of interest here from the British Chambers of Commerce which you may find useful, and I think make a great hook for getting the ear of your local or regional Chamber office.
I have shared this information with Helen today who is going to start a conversation with the BCC to introduce our offerings from the top down via their CEO Shevaun Haviland and here team.
I am offering a free managers training session for the Board members of the individual Chambers (they are usually quite small organisations) in return for Membership and a spot/opportunity to deliver the introduction session to their respective membership contingent.
At regional level I am currently talking to the offices for Dorset & Somerset, Business West Chamber, Devon & Plymouth Chamber I am planning to engage with Thames Valley Chamber group and Chamber for Wales this week too. In addition, there are loads of smaller ‘Town Chambers’ who will have a smaller reach but are just as useful to engage with from a networking POV.
Hope this helps.
How is everyone getting on? Bit quiet on here……?

I am delivering the introductory session for Ayrshire Chamber members in November. I am already a member there which probably made the conversation a little easier. Doing this as a freebie but obviously hoping to generate some interest. I suspect the level of interest from individual Chambers will depend on whether they have any internal training on the topic already. Will feedback how I get on.
