1) Great Communication: Be consistent, use all channels available to you, follow-up, pick up the phone, track your efforts. Be present, network, host webinars, use your local media, attend events - speak where anyone will listen!
2) Work Smart: Think of the 80/20 rule; 80% of results often come from approximately 20% of causes. Focus your energies on tasks that will have the greatest output. Make your efforts as broad reaching as possible so you're not repeating work unnecessarily. Be lazer focused with your activity - plan well and be time efficient.
3) Have a growth mindset: Focus on the big picture, your purpose, your motivations for doing this. Keep your eyes keenly on where you're looking to get to and be persistent and consistent in your efforts to get there.
4) Use Testimonials & Referrals: Ask for recommendations on your work. Understand that tangible outcome that your work has had and use these to promote it to other businesses. Leverage sector connections to make introductions to similar businesses. Ask people to promote your work through their channels.
5) KEEP GOING! Nothing worth having comes easy. You're building your brand, this takes time and consistency in your presence and messaging. You never know who's watching you so ensure that you're ever present. Be a thought leader and speak confidently about your specialism in this space.
