In the chat several trainers shared how they were not seeing much conversion from the their approaches to organisations, many reasons were sighted but for the purpose of this post let's focus on solutions and ideas put forward by fellow licensees. We have added the ideas shared here in the forum to support you to be able to find information at a later date.

You will see several replies to this topic each one is attributed to the trainer who shared the solutions/ideas.

It's often about thinking outside of the box, and during your various 1-1's we have looked at and suggested many opportunities that can support you becoming that "Expert" in your community, with the production of the 1 hour session, there is the opportunity to consider having per head ticket events, alternatively you could consider hosting an event where you raise money for a local charity.

Please also refer to the updated Trainer Success Programme which contains further ideas for pathways to success, it is available in your Promoting your Training resources on your trainer platform.

I’ve just offered an organisation a free colleague session in exchange for allowing me to do the intro session to their partner orgs. I’m hoping something will come from this, not heard back as yet

I have had success offering the intro session as a taster. If you are having conversations but they aren't ready now to buy, i ask what the one thing is they need to solve now and then talk about how I can help. I usually find they sign up for a shorter colleague session or the awareness session I've developed with a colleague before I joined Henpicked. Once they've done that I often get a colleague or manager session planned.

Keep talking to them regularly with other helpful info. Fast follow up is key

I’m in my 2nd year of delivering I’ve done all of the below, hope something helps…

*Free webinars for solicitors/wealth management companies (got busniess from attendees)

*Written articles for menopause magazine used it as PR

*Put posts on all social media inc Twitter (which got me a couple of schools)

*Done interviews on local radio (always looking for local businesses to go in) Got loads of contacts and intros for local business.

*Presented workshops at live events for free (good audience)

*Free 6 week education and training (gym) programme in my old gym. Got business from one of the ladies at her work.

*Built relationships with local football clubs who run the Fit Fans community programme, been in to do a menopause session

It’s had its peaks and troughs but everything I’ve done, free or paid, has been an opportunity for exposure (get everything on your social media) and also personal growth. Keep going it will happen. Put the action in and trust the process.

Contact some local venues that host parties and weddings etc. some of them will give you a room free of charge at a time they’re not normally busy. I’ve got a venue locally that give it to me for free. I’m hosting a free menopause event in a couple of weeks. Then invite everyone you know and ask them to bring a friend. Put on local Facebook pages etc. this is always good publicity.
